Forest Park Parkway Bridge Replacement

Reopened in November of 2018, the new bridge provides a safe and direct pedestrian and cyclist crossing over Forest Park Parkway to the center of the Danforth Campus. Approximately 600,000 trips are made annually across the span.

At over 18 feet wide, the new bridge has clearly marked paths for pedestrians and cyclists and offers ample space to travel. A switch back ramp slows the descent of bicycle traffic on the ramp.
